When life gives you pants… you wear them! Our parent company, TS Designs, used to provide garment dye services for a clothing brand focused on making versatile, long-lasting loungewear with the highest quality. Without any word, the company went out of business and never paid the invoice or picked up their clothing. We didn’t want these premium, super soft and versatile pants to go to waste, so we overdyed them black, giving them a beautiful rich color and a second chance at life.
These lounge pants are made of 48% Supima, 48% Modal, and 4% Spandex. Supima is a trademarked cotton grown in the United States. It is known for its extra long staple fiber that makes the cotton stronger, softer, and more resilient. Modal is a semi-synthetic fiber that is made from beech trees. It is a great alternative for polyester as it does not contribute to the microplastic problem, however, it is processed with some harsh chemicals. As we like to say, sustainability is a journey, not a destination, and modal was a big step in the right direction.
